Joff G in three yoga positions

Yoga

Being a yoga teacher allows me to guide my fellow yogis to a place where they are connected to their breath, connected to the subtle energies of their body, a place where they are able to explore what their physical, mental and spiritual bodies are capable of.

What is Yoga?

Of course, authentic yoga is not the shape of your body. The physical practice is merely a gateway to calm our monkey mind and to shift energy so that we may sit in stillness and feel Santosha (contentment), bring focus to our mind (Dharana) and sit in meditation (Dhyana) and be in union with the divine.

Where is Yoga?

Yoga is a place where you become strong and vulnerable simultaneously, a place where you have permission to be yourself, to just be. A place where the mind is free, where you can connect and contribute to the collective consciousness.

Why practice Yoga?

Yoga is love, for yourself and others.

Yoga is union, connection with oneself, and with the yoga communities that are built all over the world.

Yoga is divinity and Ananda (bliss).

Yoga is freedom

Why I love Yoga?

It is an absolute honour and privilege to hold space for others to come home to themselves and I never take it for granted.
